Mark moved to Kingston in 2006, looking for a community that was focused on family values. Having come from the hectic world of running some of Canada's largest companies, Mark created FL Fitness to bring fitness and wellness to athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all ages. Ensuring that your workout program helps you achieve your fitness goals in a safe and healthy way is the cornerstone to Mark's and FL Fitness's beliefs. Lifting as much and as many as you can is the furthest thing from a healthy approach to your fitness and wellness success. Trainer & Athletic Therapist
Nick was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario. A graduate of Sydenham High School, Nick played many sports recreationally, but was most successful in lacrosse. Earning himself a scholarship to play NCAA division 3 lacrosse in the States and also playing Junior lacrosse with the Kingston Kings, and Cornwall Celtics. While attending the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio, Nick played 4-years of lacrosse and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Therapy while minoring in Exercise Science and Psychology.
Nick is a Certified Athletic Therapist through the CATA, Certified Personal Trainer, and is also in the process of sitting for his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists certification.
Nick spent his 4-years at Mount Union working with the Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Track & Field, Wrestling and also the 12x National Champion Football team as an Athletic Trainer. Nick brings a wealth of knowledge in athletic therapy, strength & conditioning to Kingston. Beyond giving a great workout Nick will bring focus to injury reduction and rehabilitation.
Trainer & Wellness Coach
Growing up in rural Harrowsmith I was fortunate to be exposed to a multitude of athletic outlets. My love for living a healthy and holistic lifestyle began with being introduced to community and school sports such as soccer, hockey, track and field, cross country, field hockey, and rugby. These sports paired with leadership initiatives in high school afforded me the insight that physical health are so intimately linked in ones’ overall quality of life and health.
I have developed this personal philosophy further in my education, having completed the Fitness and Health Promotions diploma program at St. Lawrence College and continuing on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Guelph-Humber. I also stayed heavily involved in varsity Rugby at both St. Lawrence and Guelph-Humber having brought home gold, silver, and bronze medals within the OCAA. Through my education I have worked on placement internships with athletic therapists, and within educational institutions coaching varsity athletes as well as researching the implications of therapy on post concussion syndrome for my thesis. These hands-on experiences have only further affirmed my interest in wellness through nutrition, exercise, and living a balanced lifestyle and have inspired me to further my education by studying Message Therapy.

Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Leader
Stephen grew up north of Kingston and has been active in soccer and other sports all his life. After earning his B.A. from Trent University, Stephen enrolled in Fitness and Health Promotion at St. Lawrence College to pursue his passion of helping people make healthy and strong bodies.
After earning his diploma in 2016, Stephen acquired certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine and the Ontario Fitness Council and has been working in the industry for over 4 years.
As for his training philosophy, Stephen styles himself as a strength coach and emphasizes the cascading benefits afforded to athletes through basic barbell training. Expect classes with Stephen to be conservative on form/technique and liberal on high energy beats.
